Types of postal items:

  • ordinary mail;
  • air;
  • EMS.

On holidays, the number of mail items increases, and the speed of delivery decreases.

Sending process

The weight of the package must not exceed 200 kg. This rule was introduced recently, previously the maximum weight of the parcel was only 20 kilograms.

Packed and weighed parcels must be delivered to the post office. There, each visitor receives a number corresponding to the position in the queue. Next, managers will offer to pack the box, weigh it again on an electronic balance, compile an inventory, check the correctness of the filled address and phone numbers, put stamps on the box. After these procedures, you must choose the type of mail, pay the tax, get a copy of the receipt and a receipt for payment. On the receipt the parcel number is indicated, on it on the website of the post office of Thailand, the cargo location in real time is marked.
